Fall fishing is here
Was a little sporty out there this morning, the wind is forecasted to lay out this afternoon, we’ll see if any boats venture out! Sometimes when we have an inconsistent tuna bite in the summer season like we had this year we will get a little action in the fall, so after seeing yesterdays tuna we are hoping that’s the case! We are gonna try and get out this week, there’s still plenty of mahi and billfish around, and most likely a few tuna lurking! Inshore the bite is heating up from bluefish to striper, speckled trout and red drum, we are seeing them caught all over! From around the inlet to the back bays, as temps are dropping and the water cools down the fish are pushing further into the back bays, which is a fun way to catch em! We also caught wind of a few bluefins in the mix! Hoping these northerly winds we’ve been having and colder temps, could possibly bring us an early bluefin run, it will be time to get out and start hunting for those before we know it!
