The Always Bent Founders
Jeff Rosenkilde | President & CEO | Captain of “Bad Habit” Sport Fishing
Jeff Rosenkilde is the strategic mind and on-the-water authority behind Always Bent Fishing Intelligence. An elite offshore fisherman, he combines decades of experience with a rare ability to recognize patterns across weather, water, and fish behavior.
Fishing 50–60 offshore trips per season, Jeff analyzes historical conditions and real-time data to consistently find fish in the Mid-Atlantic. His years of collected insight became the foundation for Always Bent Fishing Intelligence — an intuitive, AI-powered platform designed to change how anglers access data and make decisions.
As Captain of Bad Habit, Jeff continues to test and refine everything Always Bent builds, ensuring it is grounded in real conditions and real results.

Dave Gladden | Technical Engineer
Dave Gladden brings a deep background in ocean navigation, systems engineering, and real-world testing to Always Bent Fishing Intelligence.
Raised in Harford County, Maryland, Dave moved to Chincoteague after high school, where a lifelong connection to the ocean took hold. He served in the United States Navy, working in submarine navigation and charted course planning, a role requiring precision, reliability, and constant situational awareness.
Today, Dave is a government testing engineer, specializing in system management, functionality, and performance validation. At ABFI, his experience directly informs how data, mapping layers, and system behavior are tested and trusted—ensuring the platform performs reliably in real offshore conditions.
Dave’s technical rigor strengthens ABFI’s foundation as a decision-support tool built for the realities of the water, not just the screen.
