Make a plan, and stick to it, the fish are here….
We’ve gotten so many reports from all different areas over the last few days, a lot of boats doing well north of the Washington, then some boats a little further north in south poormans and inside poormans catching tuna, then another group of boats in the Baltimore and up between the Baltimore and Wilmington. Use the data, whether its our app and where the hot spots and commercial fishing activity is, or SST and Chlorophyll shots, pick an area and work it, communicate with buddies and other members while on the water, it seems like almost every one has been catching which is awesome, and everyone seems to be on their own fish in their own little areas! The boats who are where the crowds are actually seem to be struggling a little more, or it is more hit or miss, if your alone or with 2-3 other boats in the Baltimore and go 3 for 4 or 4 for 5 there’s nothing wrong with that! Yes some boats are getting limits further south but there’s also boats down there getting skunked or catching 1 or 2 tuna, so you have to pick you battles, make a plan and stick to it! Work the structure, find the life, find the fish! Jeff went exploring inshore yesterday around the 12 and inshore of Masseys and saw some cobia and also caught that barracuda while trolling!! Some crazy life around this summer could be some wild fishing!! Tight lines and stay bent!
