New Eddy forming outside the Wilmington and Baltimore

Thank God the water is changing fast! Looks like the canyons could have some good fishing this week if the weather cooperates! The filament we spoke about last time up northeast of the Spencer has now moved south and broken off the gulf forming a large eddy spanning from the Wilmington to as far south as the north side of the Washington! It’s still pretty deep, east of the canyons but is getting close enough to provide some good fishing and should move in closer by the day! We will be keeping a close eye on the water throughout the week. The chlorophyll shot shows blue water in the Wilmington and Washington, and a blend of blue and green water in the Baltimore and Poormans. As of now the Wilmington is still looking like the best bet, Washington is also looking promising, but as this new eddy pushes east Baltimore and Poormans could quickly become the hot spot! For those looking to fish inshore inside the 100 line I would try the lumps to the north, Masseys, 19 fathom lump, elephant trunk etc. it looks like that’s where the current is taking the water. Tight Lines!
