More Yellowfins caught, but still a far ride….
Well Mother Nature just doesn’t want our summer tuna season to start! They’re out there but unless you have the right boat, the fuel capacity and the right conditions it is a still a hike to get to the temp break. As of 4am this morning its about 40-45 miles past the poormans. We had a couple reports of boat who did catch Yellowfin yesterday in 69-70 degree water in that exact piece of water. Hopefully we get a piece that slides in here soon, but if you're willing to make the 250-275 mile round trip it could be worth it! We are trying to stay patient and wait but we might have to poke out there on Sunday, we’ll see. Tight lines and stay bent!
