Rough yesterday, and rough again today, slow fishing…

Man was it rough yesterday!! We are hearing today it’s still a little sporty out there! Yesterday was absolute washing machine out there with big short period swell, we ended up going straight east to hot dog and then Baltimore and only picked off one mahi, it was just to rough for us to make the trek down to Norfolk, or we didn’t wanna put our bodies or the boat through that beating LOL Unfortunately the fishing seems to have slowed up quite a bit, few boats are still getting a few yellowfins way down to the south around the Norfolk, and a few boats picking at Marlin deep in the Poormans but overall the fishing slowed down compared to what we had, hopefully we get a good piece of water or something to bring another mass of life and fish through our canyons before White Marlin Open! The mahi are def around, we also saw a big 75lb wahoo caught yesterday, and heard whispers of a possible big eye caught in the Wilmy but haven’t seen pics or gotten enough intel to confirm yet. If you can make the run to the south that’s probably best bet for yellowfin, inshore lumps should get ready and turn on any day now, we’ve been checking them and haven’t seen to much yet, but its about that time! Tight lines y’all and stay bent!!
