There’s still a good billfish bite
The billfish bite is still hot in canyons like Baltimore, Poormans and Washington even some reports from the Norfolk. Still not many reports of tuna, there were a few caught inshore to the north up near cape may. We are excited to see the inshore bluefin bite ramping up to the north in NY and Jersey, a lot of salt under but a few 100lb’rs mixed in, sounds like a good sign that we may have bluefin out front again this winter. The cobia seemed to have disappeared with the current northerly blow that has lasted the last 3-4 days. Inshore is beginning to turn on from flounder to speckled trout as well as striper and bluefish, the bays are loaded with bait, also still some quality sheepshead around and even some trigger fish caught off the north jetty. Tight Lines we are working hard now to get ready and transition into fall/winter mode and will be bringing a lot more for our members! Stay tuned we’ll check back in soon!
