Finally a break from the weather…

Tuesday July 2nd and the wind has finally laid out enough to fish! Today and tomorrow are both looking beautiful for just about any sized boat to fish! Yesterday a few sport boats ventured out in the wind and the boat Spring Mix ended up with 9 Yellowfins fishing just north of the Baltimore! As we said yesterday we are still watching that same smaller eddy, which may be moving faster south than we realized! That is good news for us fishing the Mid Atlantic Canyons! Also gives us some hope that the bigger eddy further to the north will also push down into our canyons in the next week! For now based on SST and Chlorophyll shots we still recommend fishing between the Wilmington and Baltimore Canyons, there is a nice piece of blue water pushed in almost to the 100 line now, as well as a nice little eddy of warmer water that is currently hovering right in-between the Wilmington and The Baltimore and we have conformation of those tuna caught yesterday just north of the Baltimore. Jeff and the Bad Habit crew are out there now we will post updates throughout the day as we receive them! Tight Lines!
