We almost went this morning, but instead we wait….

Man the anticipation of seeing when the first yellowfin will be caught is killing us! We want to get out there so bad, but we still have to be logical about burning fuel and running all over creation, if we are gonna go out and fish we at least want a solid eddy or filament of water that we know we can get to, and unfortunately the best water we see is still a long haul. We are optimistic though, it looks like there is a couple filaments up east of the poormans and Wilmington as well as the huge eddy down south east of the Norfolk, so we will be keeping a close eye on the weather and conditions as well as the SST shots, as of right now we are thinking the next best opportunity will be Sunday! Today is def flat calm conditions however we just don’t see the water quite yet and think it makes more sense for us to wait a couple more days. For sea bass guys, deep drop for tile, flounder, tautog ( closing soon or maybe closed today) it should be perfect conditions with great water temps and water clarity! Enjoy this weather tight lines and stay bent! We’ll check back in soon!
