Slow Fishing, more rough seas ahead..
After the 4 day southerly blow, anglers were itching to get back out on Thursday. Most boats that left early had a wet ride out, but conditions improved throughout the day. Fishing was slow overall, we heard a few boats that had bites and caught a couple yellowfin in the Poorman’s, we missed a couple bites and caught a peanut mahi down near the Norfolk, and Remo on Black Magic went 1 for 2 on yellowfins in the Washington, and also caught a few mahi.
As we said in yesterdays report anglers are starting with a clean slate, the fish are moving around and spreading out, it may even be time to start looking further inshore!
As of now the Poorman’s or Washington is still a great place to start fishing. Lets hope this weather forecast improves…
